I stayed here last winter for one night and found the surroundings appealing. The restaurant had a lot of options for breakfast. The staff did their best to make my experience pleasant.

I noticed some cobwebs in the corners, and the bed was quite firm for my liking. there were times when I could hear noise from the room above, which made it less relaxing.

I truly appreciated the delicious breakfast that was cooked to order and the friendly staff who were helpful during my stay, making my time here even more enjoyable while exploring nearby landmarks like the lovely Hay Castle, just about 5 km away, and the peaceful Warren park area, perfect for a calming stroll.

We absolutely loved exploring the stunning walking trails and enjoyed a thrilling canoeing adventure nearby. The kids had a blast in the spacious garden and the breakfast was a real hit, especially those fluffy pancakes! It was a perfect spot for our family getaway.

My kids wished there were more fun activities for them onsite.

I loved my stay at black mountain lodge. it had a beautiful peaceful location with attractive converted barn buildings. The staff were incredibly helpful. they even put my suitcase in my room before check-in. my double room was comfortable with a spotless bathroom. great choice of breakfast items made my morning perfect.

We spent a night in a lovely double room with a comfy vibe. The breakfast was spot on—big portions and the pancakes were delish! Only thing was the room could've been a bit warmer. The shower was great, and it’s perfectly located for walks. Plus, there’s a picnic area for outdoor munching!

Loved the rustic stone walls in our cozy room and enjoyed the local ale waiting for us with some Welsh cakes.

i recently stayed in glasbury and black mountain lodge exceeded my expectations during this long weekend. the room was cozy with luxurious linens, and the breakfast featured freshly made items that set a great tone for the day. i loved the stunning artwork throughout the lodge, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

dining options were limited due to closure.

the lodge was in a beautifull location n had so much character. our room was nice n had a lovely view. The staff were super friendly. the restaurant had a great menu n our dinner was delish. breakfast next morning was solid too.

however, the noise from the water tank was annoying at night. also, there was no lift which was a bit tricky with my suitcase.
